We had a wonderful trip with Michal. He met with us the evening before to go over the plan for the via Ferrata and answered all our questions. He took some wonderful photos of the trip and was so patient with our children. We felt completely safe the whole time and highly recommend the trip!

Absolutely brilliant day! Marcel is a great guide, knowledgeable and very safe as well as being really funny and a genuinely lovely guy. The via ferrata route was really interesting, different to Italy as it follows along the river and waterfalls. Beautiful. Marcel recommended other walks for us to do and how to get there via public transport. He was a real help. He picked us up from our accommodation and provided our equipment.

Given its lofty name, Paradise National Park could have been setting itself up to be underwhelming, but it didn't disappoint! It truly is a paradise if you, like me, can't get enough of primeval woodland, stunning waterfalls and a bit of adventure along the way! Marcel was the perfect guide, and his years in the business of guiding and also mountain rescue really shone through. As well as answering all my questions about the park from a nature point of view, he also gave me a fascinating overview of Slovakia's cultural/political history. This was my first-ever attempt at via ferrata and he gave me a great crash course on the equipment and safety procedures so I felt fully prepared. I am now a fully committed fan and will definitely be signing up to more via ferrata trips! Thanks for a fantastic day, Marcel.

Marcel was an excellent guide for our trip. Not only did he speak fluent English (few people do in Slovakia), guided and helped us, but also was a dedicated photographer of the adventure. Highest recommendations.
