Description
Located in the heart of Pennine Alps, in Valais, Switzerland, the Zinal glacier is an incredible thing to behold.
7 kilometres long, the Zinal glacier is the purpose of this day long adventure. We will visit, explore and enjoy this mammoth glacier. And unlike other glaciers which you typically only get to see the surface of, at Zinal, you get to literally delve into this gorgeous slab of ice.
With a sensational mountain looming above the glacier, you will feel small when you arrive. And when you enter, you will feel even smaller. Yet that won’t matter much, as you will be surrounded by beautiful glacial blue ice. The colours you will get to admire inside of the glacier are nothing short of spectacular.
While the Zinal glacier is the purpose of this trip, the trek to get there is also very impressive as the landscape of the Swiss Alps is second to none.
