Description

Come discover everything the Zermatt Valley in Switzerland has to offer to backcountry skiers!

Our starting point will be at St. Niklaus. From here we will reach untouched high valleys in the shortest possible time. We'll have dinner and rest in a hotel of the area for the first night.

During the following days, and depending on the snow conditions, we will have a wide variety of available ski touring options:

Jungtal

Jungtal has endless ski tours for all levels. The starting point is the Alpe Boys. Getting from there to the alpine huts of the Jung Valley takes just one hour. Once up there, you can enjoy a wide variety of tours to tempting summits.

Augsbortal

From Schalb we can also reach various peaks in the Augsbort valley. It is possible to connect Jungtal or Moosalpe to Augsbort and discover great ski tours as well.

Seetal

There are more and more ski options leaving from the Seetalhorn Station in Grächen. The best one is to climb up to the Platthorn with skins and conquer a panoramic summit with several descents.

It will be my pleasure to be your guide around this beautiful area. So contact me and we’ll start planning for an amazing few days together in the Zermatt Valley.

And if you’d like to check out some other similar programs in the region, take a look at my 5-day guided ski tour from Saint Luc to Zermatt. Believe me, you won’t regret it!

What people are saying about ES Adventure Guides

Peter

This was a great trip and Explore Share made finding the right trip super easy. Our guide was personable, extremely knowledgeable, and experienced and willing to teach us the skills we would have needed to climb the Matterhorn. Unfortunatly, the conditions were not right to climb so our guide recemmended another trip which was still a great experience and lots of fun.

Emma

Very user friendly platform with timely responses from Explore Share representatives. The trip itself with Tom from Alps Adventures was awesome and ensure that we had an experience that was 100% what we wanted. Recommend both the platform and the guide. Thanks to all for arranging and delivering so well.

I had am amazing time during the 1-day off-piste training course at Hoch-Ybrig. Urs, our main mountain guide, was very helpful in answering my queries before the course, and Lupe from explore-share was helpful in selecting the course. We had 3 groups under Urs, Mario and Patrick, and I was in the group with Patrick. He gave us a lot of nice tips and individualized video analysis. He made a special effort to convey everything in English, since I don't know German. All the participants were very helpful and friendly too! The course is good value for money as skis are included for the weekend in the course price.
