Description

Located between Namur and Dinant, the Paradou rocks in Yvoir form an limestone massif at the Meuse valley. This is a great rock climbing destination in Wallonia, Belgium.  It is an ideal massif for an initiation or to improve your skills in slab and multi-pitch routes climbing. In fact, the difficulty can vary between easy and sustained, depending on your level. We can practice single- and multi-pitch climbing here.

There is a fantastic large slab, 60 meters high, called "L'Impériale". It is right next to a beautiful isolated needle, from which we can descend abseiling. The climb is essentially on slabs, on reglets and holes. But there are also dihedrals, ridges and overhanging routes.

The main reasons why I enjoy guiding my friends and clients here are:
– Magnificent limestone slabs with great views over the Meuse valley
– Ideal for an initiation or to train climbing on slabs and multi-pitch routes
– Possible to mix sport routes and multi-pitch routes.

Another great rock climbing destination in the area of Namur is Beez, check it out! It's of course possible to combine both programs if you are coming for more than one day.

Tempted to join me in Yvoir for some fantastic rock climbing? Then please request to book this trip and we will meet soon! I am sure you will have the time of your life.
