The second highest mountain in Austria stands superbly at 3772 m with its snow covered peaks and slopes watching over the Ötzal valley and the Pitz valley. The delightful Wildspitze has twin peaks, is surrounded by glaciers and is the fantasy of every splitboarder.
I invite you to ascend to the summit and to descend with our splitboards on the stunning Taschachferner glacier, covered by 2000 meters of milky blankets that embellish the scenery.
The soft snow and slopes are ideal for intermediate splitboarders with some experience in this activity.
It is up to you: do you want to spend an unforgettable day splitboarding on amazing slopes of pure snow? If the answer is yes, book the trip straightaway!
Austria has other fabulous alpine areas to splitboard, such as the emblematic Sonnblick peak.

After spending two days with Mathias on Grossglockner, we have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone looking to embark on a hike. Mathias is approachable, friendly, calm, reliable, and incredibly knowledgeable. We felt safe and well taken care of throughout the entire journey. Communication has been straightforward and excellent the whole way. Our next hike will undoubtedly be with Mathias!

Mathias was excellent. He brought us to good snow even in a low snow week. He was kind, friendly and very knowledgeable. Next time we bring skins!

My guide ended up being a local snowboard guide named Peter. It was excellent. Lovely guy, we got to ride some powder as well as practice searching with the avalanche rescue equipment. All round good day. Would highly recommend
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
