The Vipava valley is the ideal place for a hike. It offers some of the most mesmerizing sceneries and breathtaking views. Also, it has many options with various difficulty levels. So you’ll find everything here, from steep slopes to quiet trails. And along the way, you’ll also encounter high plateaus, enchanting valleys and majestic peaks worth visiting.

The options are endless! The steep slopes of the Trnovo plateau, alongside with the ones in Nanos, open the possibilities for different types of terrain.

For those that prefer mountainous adventures, there are many peaks we can hike through. The most popular ones are Čaven, Kucelj, Mali Golak, Nanos, Sabotin and Škabrijel. And all of them are accessible all year long. Moreover, depending on the season, the views you’ll get from the top of these peaks will simply hypnotize you. The colors of everything around them change according to the time of the year, and weather permitting you could even see all the way to ocean and the Julian Alps!
