Description

If you’re a via ferrata lover and would like to discover a wonderful peak in the Dolomites, you can’t miss this program on Tofana di Rozes. Follow me!

On this 1-day trip, I invite you to reach the summit of Tofana di Rozes through the Giovanni Lipella via ferrata. This mountain reaches 3,225 meters of altitude and belongs to the Dolomites.

First of all, we’ll meet in the Dibona Refuge in Cortina d’Ampezzo. Our via ferrata will begin in Galleria del Castelletto, a walkway that will lead us uphill that has an extension of 500 meters. From there, we’ll head west and face several steep sections on the way. After a while, we’ll reach a detour and begin the final section. This part of the route includes facing challenging stairs until the end of the ferrata. Once there, we’ll contemplate the fantastic surrounding views from the summit. As for the descent, we’ll take the final section and then follow the normal route to the Giussani Refuge. Finally, we’ll return to the Dibona Refuge.

Please, keep in mind that this is a difficult via ferrata. Therefore, it’s mandatory that you have prior via ferrata experience and a very good level of fitness. Also, it’s important to have good aerobic training. Additionally, you need to be comfortable with heights.

So, would you like to take part in this adventure in the Dolomites? Then all you have to do is send the request and book your place on this trip. I’ll be glad to be your guide!

Another option could be this 3-day via ferrata program that I lead to the summit of Monte Civetta. Check it out!

We had a wonderful experience on top of Großglocklner. We felt very secure during the whole trip. Mauro was always clear and we got to learn several tips for our next adventures. I recommend!

We had such a great trip! We felt incredibly safe with Mauro even during some intense, crowded moments up on the peak. All in all, we had a great experience!

Amol

Our dolomites experience was amazing! Mauro was really nice and patient with me and my wife. We changed our itinerary on the last day of dolomites as the via ferrata on piz boe would have been too difficult, instead we did a smaller one on Mauro's suggestion.
