Would you like to discover a fantastic rocky playground in the Savoie department? Then join us and enjoy the Via du Diable via ferrata, for 1 or more days, in the commune of Aussois. This fantastic via ferrata, with 7 independent sections, is located in the Maurienne region, in south-eastern France.
The seven parts, each quite different from the other, offer different levels of difficulty, from very easy, for children and beginners, to very difficult for the most experienced climbers and for those who enjoy challenges. You can choose either to have fun for a day or for several days.
The first two sections are suitable for children and beginners, and there are escape routes between each part. The Via du Diable is a very popular and well equipped via ferrata. It is an excellent plan for families looking to enjoy a fun day in beautiful natural environment.
The other 5 parts of the via ferrata are suitable for intermediate level and experienced climbers. They vary between steep descents, long crossings and more sporty climbs. The seven sections of the via ferrata have a total length of 3760 meters. If you choose to climb the total course it will take you about 6 to 8 hours in total.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area.
