The Brenta Dolomites is a jaw dropping sub-range of the Dolomites mountain range in northeastern Italy. Recognised as a UNESCO world heritage site, this mountain terrain is something truly spectacular.
I’m offering you three days in this wild landscape: I will take you on an epic hike ascending and descending 800m. We will venture through its most picturesque areas and you will enjoy a landscape full of needles, spires and gorges.
As part of this three day trip, you will enjoy one of the most iconic and stunning via ferratas in Europe, Via delle Bocchette, with its absolutely stunning views. You’ll also be spending the nights in mountain huts with outstanding night time star gazing.
The unique thing about the Dolomites is the topography. After millions of years of erosion, narrow ledges have been carved into the mountainside and now we have the luck to travel along them!
During the trip, I will explain the history of the area both geographically and culturally so that you can really understand the landscape you are exploring.
No previous mountain experience is required for this trip but you will need a decent level of fitness. We will hike 5-7 hours each day through the mountains with a backpack.
The via ferrata is also quite exposed and, although not technically difficult, you should be comfortable with heights and have good balance and mobility.
I can’t wait to share this experience with you, so sign up now and let’s explore this gorgeous mountain terrain!
If you’d enjoy a shorter trip ,then consider joining me on this one day hike around lake Garda with spectacular views over the lake and of the Dolomites. If via ferratas are your cup of tea, then sign up to the legendary Monte Albano near lake Garda for a thrilling experience!

Mountain Guide
Certified mountain and ski guide and is directing since 15 years the Mountain School Mmove (former Friends of Arco). In the past, his passion had driven him for weeks to the solitude of the Alps, of Patagonia, or of the icy heights of the Karakorum to climb famous walls and peaks and open up new routes.
Today his priorities have moved. He wants to share his enthusiasm for the mountains - while working with his guests and in his spare time with his sons, as his father has once done with him. Mauro Girardi is very proud on its enthusiastic and highly qualified team of local Mountain-and Ski Guides, Hiking Guides and office employees. Mmove is not just a mountain school, but is a steadily growing circle of friends, who would like to realize great experiences. We like to Mmove it !!
Mmove is the only mountain school in the Alto Garda region with a guaranteed weekly program and activities for all tastes and the whole family.
The team is formed by 8 IFMGA/UIAGM Guides, so if Mauro is not available, one of the other highly qualified members of the team will be the guide.

Gabriel was an excelent guide!! Very friendly, helpfull, calm and relax guide! We really enjoyed the trip. We started with a more easy route on day one to measure our level. On day two and three the difficulty was gradually increased acoording to our skills.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
