I invite you to join me on this hiking program in Jotunheimen, Norway. This mountainous area is situated in the south of the country and belongs to the Scandinavian Mountains. Here, we’ll find Uranostind, a beautiful mountain surrounded by glaciers with an altitude of 2,157 meters above sea level. If you’re looking for a fantastic place to go hiking, you can’t miss this chance.
Our meeting point will be in the Fondsbu Lodge, situated in Eidsbugarden, by the shores of Lake Bygdin. During this 1-day program, we’ll enjoy hiking around the peak and we’ll explore its amazing natural spots. Also, the tour includes going through glaciers, so remember that it’s important to bring crampons and ice axes. The trip will last around 10 hours.
Please, keep in mind that it’s mandatory to have prior hiking experience as well as a good level of fitness to join this program.
Does this trip in Jotunheimen sound exciting? Then don’t hesitate to send your request and book your place. We’ll be happy to guide you across this wonderful place in Norway.
Another option in the area could be this rock climbing program. Check it out!

Based in Western Norway, near the Sognefjord, our guiding agency has been offering its services since 1987. We are located in the Jostedalen Valley from where we have quick and easy access to the popular Nigardsbreen, an arm of the large Jostedalsbreen glacier.
Originally established by certified guides Steinar Bruheim, Thore Stensberg, Heidi Zimmermann and Arve Tvedt, the agency's staff now includes up to 30 guides in the high season, both in Norway and internationally, all with solid knowledge and experience.

Tshering, our guide, was fantastic. Set a pace that we could all maintain. Selected timely stops, gave great guidance on climbing. The weather, unfortunately, was terrible — steady rain and howling winds. We hiked the glacier in a cloud bank and skipped the summit due to weather.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
