Description

Join us for an adrenaline rafting experience on the Upper Gauley River in West Virginia. We’ll enjoy Class IV/V rapids including the incredible Sweets Falls drop!

The Gauley River runs for 105 miles in West Virginia until it merges with the New River and together they form the Kanawha River, which is a tributary of the bigger Ohio River. It’s famous for having some of the most awesome whitewater runs in the east of the United States.

This is a great option for those of you with previous rafting experience wanting to try a new challenge!

This adventure will start early in the morning when you meet one of our guides to ask all the questions and concerns you may have. After that we’ll gear up and drive to the river. Along the way we’ll go over some safety instructions and what to expect.

Once at the river you’ll immediately feel the power of the water as we go into the first rapid. The river terrain is shocking, it has huge rocks and dramatic drops that will make you feel alive all along the journey!

Somewhere along the middle of the program we’ll stop to have lunch as we enjoy the beautiful scenery that surrounds us. Lunch will include a succulent buffet with sandwiches, fruits, snacks and dessert, which will fill you up to continue paddling the rest of the way.

This amazing program is available for ages 16+.
