Upper Colorado River rafting adventure, near Vail (Half-day)

Running down from the Rockies, the Colorado River is an excellent choice for all types of rafting adventures, especially near Vail!

Join us for an epic half-day of pretty easy, but still fun and exciting, white water rafting down along the Colorado River. After meeting up in the morning, we’ll head right out to the starting spot and get into the water.

There’s nothing like heading out over the first rapids and getting a real feel for the powerful nature of this river. However, none of the rapids are too difficult, making this the ideal outing for a family or group of friends.

Along the way there will be plenty of chances for swimming too, which is especially nice on a hot day.

As we go, we will also get the chance to spot some of the local wildlife, including birds of prey and bighorn sheep. We’ll also stop to explore some old mining camps as we go and talk a bit about the some of the region’s interesting history and culture.
