Located in the northwestern corner of Slovenia, Triglav National Park is home to Slovenia's only "back roads," which make for quite the ski touring traverse!
Known as Triglavska magistrala, the tour of the entire circuit takes three days and brings us past all of this stunning national park's most impressive scenery.
Our adventure begins after we arrive at the hut Klementa Juga. From here, we will ski on to Krnsko Lake along a well-marked trail
After a quick break, we will continue on going toward Bogatinska vratca, passing many World War I ruins en route.
From Bogatinska vratca, we will begin heading toward a peak called Lanževica. From the top of this mighty summit, we will enjoy some great views before skiing down to the Komna hut, where we will spend the night.
Overall, expect to ski for 6 to 7 hours on this day.
On the second day, we begin our morning with an ascent toward Triglav hut. As we go, we will enjoy great views of the surrounding mountain scenery and lakes.
From the Triglav hut, we will continue north to the Zasavska hut, where we will spend the night. Expect to ski for about 7 to 9 hours on this day.
On the final day of the trip, we will start with a quick ascent of Hribarica, where we will get more great views before descending on into the Velska Valley.
We will proceed to cross the valley and ascend back up to Konjsko pass, where we will get more great views before descending down the Triglav glacier.
This will be followed by our final ascent to the Stanič hut before we descend down to Krma and finish off the trip. Expect to ski for abut 7 to 9 hours on this day.
So what are you waiting for? Book now for this scenic and exciting 3-day ski touring traverse of Triglav National Park!

Aspirant Guide
I am an aspirant IFMGA mountain guide, born in 1987, from Vuhred, now living in Ljubljana, Slovenia. I have been discovering mountains from an early age. I started climbing at the age of 15 and now it has become a way of life.
During my active years as an alpinist, I have been on four expeditions to the Andes, Himalaya and China and I was nominated for the Piolet d’or for the ascent to Xulian Feng in China.
I like all types of alpine activities such as alpine climbing, sport climbing, ski touring, etc. Overall I like to spend my time in the mountains. That is why I decided I not only want to climb for myself, but to guide other people, so they can experience what I have until now.
My mission as a mountain guide is to provide you the safest way to discover mountains, so that you can explore the vertical world in a different way. I will guide you to more or less populated mountain trails and climbing routes.

Igor was a great guide. This was my first tour and he was very patient and very happy to pass on his considerable knowledge. Stunning surroundings and great snow made for a fantastic experience. Thanks!
Roger
This was a great trip. It was challenging enough to be interesting but easy enough for all the family. The option of staying in the hut after lunch for those not wanting to do the summit worked well. Igor was great. thanks

Igor is very attentive guide and he was with me at every step. He made pictures with me along the way and he pushed me to achieve my goal. Thanks! All the entire process to booking was very easy from choosing the trip to descending back in town in safety and they are amazing team, because I have a tone of questions and they have a tone of patience. Thanks again, guys! I will return for via ferrata on Triglav.

The experience truly was 5*, the scenery of 7 lakes valleys was just breathtaking. Igor was amazing guide, he really took care of us and explained about the local culture and nature while drinking few beers at the hut & waiting the sunset:) Especially the "fast route down", via ferrata and meeting the mountain goat was very memorable! I have and i will continue recommend you guys and Igor for my friends;) All the best to you guys and maybe next time we will tackle another mountain together:) Love and Sunshine from Finland.
