Renowned as a highly popular tourist destination in Nepal, Pokhara boasts a captivating array of attractions. The city has some stunning lakes, including Phewa, Begnas, and Rupa, where you can enjoy a boating experience. Pokhara also offers fascinating caves to explore, such as the Gupteshwor Cave and Bat Cave.

Day 2: Explore Phedi and Trek towards Pothana

Following an early morning breakfast, your journey will start with a drive to Phedi. From there, you will walk on stone steps, terraced fields, and pass through charming villages and forests, ultimately reaching Dhampus. Once there, you will be able to enjoy a satisfying lunch. Afterward, the trek continues towards Pothana.

The trail to Pothana is a delightful and scenic descent, leading you through fragrant sandalwood forests. As you arrive, you will be able to gaze at the majestic Fishtail Mountain (Mt. Machhapuchhre). You will then obtain your ACAP Permit at the checkpoint. Today's trek spans approximately 3 hours.

Day 3: Hike to Low Camp

Following breakfast, your trek will start from Pothana towards Pitam Deurali, through the red sandalwood and rhododendron forest. Along the trail, you will encounter small open pastures, including a buffalo grazing area. Crossing the pasture, you will then delve deep into a dense forest, embarking on a 2-3 hour uphill climb.

After a gentle descent, you will arrive at Forest Camp. En route to Low Camp, you will be treated to vistas of the Dhaulagiri and Manaslu mountain ranges. Forest Camp is a village nestled amidst lush green forests, offering campsites and lodges. On the western side of Forest Camp, you can enjoy panoramic views of Ghandruk, its neighboring villages, and the scenic Modi Valley.

Continuing your journey from Forest Camp, you will proceed to Low Camp. Situated amidst dense rhododendron forests, Low Camp features a flat terrain. After a long trek of 7–8 hours from Pothana, you will reach this serene location. From Low Camp, you will be able to witness Machhapuchhre and Mardi Himal.

After breakfast at Low Camp, you will trek through a trail that will lead you into beautiful rhododendron forests. You'll gradually ascend until you reach the lower viewpoint at an elevation of 3289 meters. Continuing along a grassy slope, you will make your way towards High Camp.

The trail to High Camp can be steep at times, with narrow paths and sections that pass through charming rhododendron forests. As you tread along the off-the-beaten path on an open ridge, you will be rewarded with views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre ranges. The southern side of the ridge reveals a lush green landscape, with the Modi River valley below and villages like Ghandruk, Chhomrong, Sinuwa, and Dovan in sight.

Continuing your trek, you will eventually reach High Camp, approximately 4 hours from Low Camp. High Camp serves as a natural viewpoint tower, with specacular vistas in every direction such as the majestic peaks of Mt.
