I was born and raised in Patagonia. As a child I adopted the mountains as a way of life and now it is my honour to share my passion for this incredible landscape with all travellers who come looking for adventures.

Since 2009 I work as a guide in the surroundings of the magical town of El Chaltén. There are just too many things to do around here, from day hikes to longer trekking programs or tougher expeditions. My goal is to fulfil all of my clients´ goals and expectations in this wonderful area.

What people are saying about this trip

Thomas

What an amazing 4 days. Unbelievable sceneries, varied Patagonian landscapes, connection to nature that makes you feel very small. All this guided by Gisela, a Chalten local, who prepared everything with great care, made us feel safe at all time and shared her knowledge of the region together with us. Una guia re-patagonica and an experience that will stay with us for a long time. Thank you!

Lisa

Our guide Gisela was fantastic. Not only is she an extremely competent guide who is very familiar with the El Chalten area, but she is also a very happy and pleasant person to spend time with. She made sure we safely completed the 4-day Huemul Circuit and even helped us through a delayed start due to a missed flight connection. We were well taken care of from start to finish!
