6-day Trentino trek around Lake Garda with a local guide

From Riva del Garda, we’ll transfer you to Val di Ledro (approx.. 45 min) until Malga Trat (1,502 meters). We’ll go to Bocca di Trat and pass through the Nino Pernici Refuge (1,600 meters). Then, we’ll head south along a panoramic ridge until Bocca di Savàl and reach Cima Pari, at 1,991 meters (1:30 hours). Overnight Nino Pernici Refuge.

Duration: 4 hours.

Elevation gain: ↑ 490 m ↓390 m.

From the hut, we’ll discover the turquoise waters of Lake Tenno (570 meters), where we’ll share lunch and have the chance to enjoy swimming.

Then, we’ll visit the historic center of Canale di Tenno and reach San Pietro Refuge, where we’ll spend the night.

Elevation gain: ↑ 820 m ↓1450 m.

On this day, we’ll ascend to Monte Calino (1,067 meters) and reach San Giovanni al Monte (3 hours). Then, we’ll go downhill and visit the historical sites of Arco.

Accommodation in a hotel in Arco.

There is the possibility to be transferred from San Giovanni al Monte to Arco (extra 25 EUR).

On day 4, we’ll transfer you from Arco to Viote del Bondone and enjoy trekking around Monte Cornetto (2,170 meters). Our hike will continue through the trails of Upper Garda area and we’ll discover some of the most beautiful surrounding peaks. We’ll contemplate breathtaking views of Trentino and the Brenta Dolomites on the way and reach Monte Stivo (2,059 meters). After looking at the gorgeous Lake Garda, we’ll head to the Marchetti Refuge (2,015 meters).

Elevation gain: ↑ 1680 m ↓1230 m.

We’ll cross several pastures and woods, and enjoy a delicious lunch in Maso Naranch. In the afternoon, we’ll drive to the slopes of Monte Altissimo and reach its summit (2,053 meters). Then, we’ll head to Damiano Chiesa Refuge.

Duration: 6-7 hours.

Elevation gain: ↑ 430 m ↓1200 m.

On our last day, we’ll go along the ridge of Monte Baldo and explore a beautiful natural area with lovely animals. We’ll descend to Bocca di Navene and then ascend to the Monte Baldo cable car. Finally, we’ll take the cable car and return to Riva del Garda, where we’ll end our program.
