Description

Follow us to the unique top of the Quetrupillan Volcano, Chile on this one-day adventure. We’ll hike or snowshoe to this iconic volcano near Pucón and discover the impressive views from the top. You don’t want to miss this!

The summit of the Quetrupillan Volcano has an altitude of 2,382 meters. It has a huge glacier in its crater and offers privileged views of the Lanín and Villarrica Volcano. It is also a great alternative for those looking for a less crowded mountaineering experience with incredible and diverse local flora and fauna.

We recommend this trip to participants with good physical and health condition and with some experience in the mountain. Due to weather conditions, the volcano may present some technical difficulty to climb.

The hike will take us between 4 to 5 hours to the summit and 2 to 3 hours to come down. We’ll be covering 16 kilometres and gaining an altitude of 1,430 meters. It can also be done with snowshoes during the winter.
