Description

A 3-day trail running stage in the heart of the Domes mountain chain (Aydat), in Auvergne. On the land of Thomas Lorblanchet, high level trail runner and physiotherapist.

During this trail running trip in Auvergne, supervised by mountain and trail professionals, you will practice intensively to answer all the questions you have. How to train more efficiently? What are some tips to avoid injury and overtraining? What types of workouts will make me grow in a smart way and for the long-term?

Through sharing experiences and the advice of Thomas, you will leave this weekend full of new information!

This course will be supervised by me and Thomas, born in Clermont-Ferrand. Palmares: 1st world champion Trail, 4 times winner of the Grande Course des Templiers, Leadville 100 Winner (2012), also 5th in the Western States (2015)…

Some highlights of this course are: – An exceptional stay with the presence of a trail champion: Thomas Lorblanchet; – An approach sports / health and physio / osteo; – A warm and friendly accommodation in cottage; – Professional advice to progress in trail during 3 days; – The discovery of a unique trail playground through the Auvergne volcanoes.

In the ‘extra’ section below, you’ll find information about the required trail running level you need to have. You will also see the equipment that you need to bring with you.

During these 3 days we will run on average 20-35km a day and go up from 1000 to 2000 meters. We will mainly be on single tracks and varied terrain. We will partially be on aerial paths.

Are you interested in this course or any other trail outing that I organize in the Alps and elsewhere? Then please contact me! I'd be happy to take you running on these beautiful mountain trails and coach you in your training and learning. And if you are looking for a trail running trip by the sea, have a look at this one in the Calanques, Marseille.

What people are saying about this trip

Jessica
