Come with a certified mountain guide to this 2-day program in a natural environment where you will learn the best secrets of traditional climbing.
2 Days
Aug, Sep
Traditional climbing is considered pure climbing. That means rocks don’t suffer any kind of damage, unlike other disciplines in which walls are perforated to embed bolts.
In traditional climbing all safety devices are not on walls but on climbers. So, they use many different protections such as springs, stoppers and nuts in case of cracks or fragile rocks.
Today, I want to offer you an incredible 2-day program in California where my team and I will teach you all the techniques of traditional climbing in long routes. All that a climber has always wanted to know!
Classes will be taught by me and my team of professional guides. Each content is previously certified by the international protocols of the AMGA (American Association of Mountain Guides). So, as you can see, it is a very secure and vanguard course.
During these two learning days of traditional climbing you will learn:
How to use hands for long routes climbing
How to tie professional knots
How to build anchors using removable protections
How to evaluate each terrain before the anchor building
How to move from one station to another safely
How to put the protections on
How to know when to use each protection
These two days will be intensive and you will learn a lot. Besides, you can apply all that new knowledge climbing real walls in a really inspiring environment. We will also enjoy some sustained hikes in order to train our bodies.
For booking, knowing available dates and the places where this course will be done, please contact me. It will be a pleasure for me to help you to improve your traditional climbing skills. You won’t regret!
