The snowiest place in Alaska, Thompson Pass, is an idyllic spot for splitboarders. This wonderful oasis located in between the Chugach Mountains, has an average snowfall of 552 inches per year, a true record. That, and a strong winter air coming from the Gulf of Alaska make these mountains really steep, allowing you to experience perfect surfaces for some exciting descents!
Its varied terrain and impeccable powder will be a constant on this 7-day adventure, as well as the beauty of Prince William Sound, Valdez, a small town where we will lodge every night. However, you can choose to camp for one or two nights to find more spots for splitboarding.
This is the beauty of this program: you get the chance to change it according to your needs, wants and skills, so you can have an amazing time splitboarding in Thompson Pass. It is also possible to heliski, although it is not included in the price.
Don’t forget that these are challenging terrains, so you will need to be fit and have prior splitboarding experience.
If you are ready, we want to hear from you! Book this trip now to enjoy the privilege of splitboarding in one of the snowiest places on Earth!

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

All perfect

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
