Hiking through the Atlas Mountains is a must-do. We have the perfect 6-day hike that takes you to the summit of the highest peak in the range, Jebel Toubkal. The nature that’ll you’ll encounter in the Atlas Mountains in unforgettable. From unobstructed starscapes to waterfalls hidden in the mountains, there is so much beauty to admire.
We’ll meet up in Marrakesh to start our adventure. Heading straight to the mountains, we’ll visit Berber villages along the way. Our nights will be spent in guesthouses and chalets that are nestled in the mountains. Waking up in the mountains is particularly special as we’re able to see the sun come up over the villages and landscape.
The pinnacle of our mountain experience comes as we reach the summit of Toubkal. At 4167 metres getting there is no easy feat. The views from the top will be all worth it though.
We’ll round our trip off exploring the fascinating streets of Marrakesh. From market stalls selling beautiful handicrafts to snake-charmers in the streets, Marrakesh is sure to captivate you.

We’ll meet at Marakkech airport before transferring to Imlil, a beautiful Berber town, located in the western highlands of the Atlas. We’ll eat dinner and sleep in a local guesthouse.
After breakfast, we’ll begin our trek through the Mizane Valley exploring the village of Aremd and passing by the Sidi Shamarouch shrine. We’ll walk east, following a trail that pack mules have followed for centuries. The terrain in this area is quite rocky, and we’ll hike a windy road to get to the Toubkal mountain chalet at 3206 metres. This chalet will be our home for the night.
We’ll focus on acclimatisation today. After taking a short walk to see some beautiful waterfalls, we’ll head back to Toubkal mountain chalet. This hike will take us 2-3 hours roundtrip. We’ll have some time before dinner to rest.
We’ll get an early start to hike to the summit of Jebel Toubkal. At 4167m it’s the highest peak in North Africa. We’ll spend some time at the top enjoying the view before we return to the Toubkal mountain chalet. In total, we will have walked for around six hours. We’ll depart for Imlil in the afternoon and spend another night in the guesthouse.
We’ll transfer from Imli to Marrakesh after breakfast. Our day will be spent exploring Marrakesh’s best spots. These include Ali ben Youssef Medersa, The Koutoubia, Bahia Palace and more. We’ll venture into the streets and bazaars of Marrakech where you’ll find a variety of interesting things like snake handlers or traders offering Berber magical love potions. We’ll spend the night in a hotel and have dinner there.
After breakfast we’ll take you to the airport for your flight home.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area.
