Description

I want to invite you to a unique 4-day ski touring trip in the Tamok Valley, a spectacular destination with great powder far away from the beaten path. This will be a completely different experience from everything you may know about skiing in Norway.

The Tamok Valley is located a bit further inland than many of the other popular ski touring destinations of the Tromsø area. But what it lacks in ocean-view, it more than makes up for in the amazing ski touring possibilities it offers. Here you’ll find skiable peaks everywhere!

The only problem you will find in the Tamok Valley is choosing which of all these stunning mountains you want to ski. This is certainly a true ski touring paradise, with impressive mountains, breathtaking views and long wide open slopes. This valley is also known for its steep skiing and great coulouirs.

In Tamok days are long in April, making it possible to enjoy 4 full days of ski touring during this mini-holiday. Another advantage is the favourable schedule of the main air carrier flying to Tromsø, allowing to take fully advantage of these 4 days.

We will be staying at a small rented house during these days. Please note I take from 3 to 5 people in each trip.

So are you in for this great ski touring adventure in the Tamok Valley? Just send me a request, book your trip and let’s start planning this trip together. Come discover this hidden treasure in Norway!

Mountain Guide

I was born in 1979, grew up in Albertslund, just outside Copenhagen. I started climbing when I was 14 years old and I was immediately gripped by it. In 2000 I became a Rock Climbing Instructor (AK) and shortly after, in 2001, I moved to Canada to go to school - I took a degree in "Adventure Tourism". The real reason I traveled to Canada was the mountains and nature. The years I lived in Canada I used to develop my skills as a climber and alpinist. I also began training to become an international mountain guide. Since I have returned to Europe, where I have spent time climbing, skiing and being on tour. I have also completed my degree and I'm now internationally recognized as mountain guide and a professional working in the various mountain activities. During my years in the mountains, my passion for climbing and skiing have become stronger and stronger. As a guide and instructor, I hope to get the chance to share my passion and experience with you!

What people are saying about Kasper

Janine

Had a fantastic day climbing with Kasper! Ended up climbing in the Utby/Fjällbo area as it was easily accesible by public transportation & closer to where I was staying in Gothenburg. I'm so glad I got a chance to climb with Kasper - definitely my favorite part of my trip to Sweden so far. Highly recommend! Thanks!

Anne

Although our time was limited, Kasper made the most of it. He tailored each day's instruction and climbs to my daughter's abilities and interests, encouraged her to challenge herself, and kept safety in focus at all times. Highly recommend.
