On this amazing 4 day adventure, you will get to take a hiking journey through the Alaskan wilderness. More specifically, you will get to explore and admire the beautiful Talkeetna mountains.
Compared to other hiking journeys that can be taken throughout the vast and spectacular Alaskan landscape, this trip is one of the more easier treks to take. Hence making it a much more accessible trip than most. However, because it is still the wild of Alaska, participants should still be in good physical condition. Also, any previous hiking experience is a plus, but not an absolute requirement.
There are a number of amazing highlights to enjoy on this trip through the Talkeetna mountains. There is the amazing Mint glacier, which we will also get to explore thoroughly. This enormous glacier is surrounded by jagged ridges and peaks, which we also get to explore as well. And when we reach the top of those ridges and peaks, you will be rewarded with some truly incredible views.
Over the course of the trip’s 4 days, you will also get to see and explore the area around the Reed lake. There are wonderful rivers like the Little Sustina river as well. Furthermore, during the trip, there will be a steady rise in elevation, but nothing dramatic. We will also be covering a distance of about 10 kilometres per day. However, everything will be done at a steady, exploratory pace.
With a trip time of only 4 days, this hike through the Talkeetna mountains offers a great chance for people looking to get a taste of Alaska, but aren’t yet sure if they want to participate in longer, more demanding treks. To participate, all you have to do is send us a request, and let us guide you through the wilderness that Alaska is so famous for.
