Description

Svaneti is a top spot for freeride skiing and snowboarding in Georgia. It is located in the northwest of Georgia, also being the highest inhabited place in the Caucasus. It is home to Tetnuldi Ski Resort, which encompasses epic ski terrains surrounded by incredible mountains.

On these flexible tours, our guides will assess your skill level and objectives and create an itinerary custom for you. Depending on your interest and level, we will make sure to take you to the best local spots for freeride skiing and snowboarding in Svaneti.

You can try out your first freeride run or focus on improving your ski or snowboard technique with our guides, all while enjoying the best lines and the amazing spectacle of the Caucasus peaks around you. Svaneti is famous for its powder and its long ski season, so you are guaranteed a thrilling time in this epic ski region in Georgia.

Mountain Guide

I am a IFMGA/GMGA certified mountain guide, with more than 10 years of experience in the Caucasus mountain region.

Mountain Guiding and alpine sport is the most gratifying passion in my life. As an official team member of the United Federation of Georgian Mountaineers, I have led some of the most challenging ascents and expeditions in the Caucasus. In addition, I have completed successful ascents in Himalayas, Tian Shan, Pamir, Alps, and more. Aside from climbing, I have a big enthusiasm for ski mountaineering. I have completed many first ski descents in the region, such as Mt. Tetnuldi West Face descent, and more. In the winter and spring season, I enjoy guiding my guests on the backcountry of the Caucasus mountains, and sharing my experience and love for this region. In the summer season, I guide groups up iconic peaks such as Mt. Kazbek and more.
