The program I am proposing today consists in a 4-day ski touring trip among the highlights of the Stubai Valley. It is a 40-km long alpine valley situated in Tyrol, Austria. In fact, it is the central valley of the stunning Stubai Alps.
During this adventure we will walk up to a 2147-meter-high mountain hut (Franz Senn Hut). We will also skin over the Ferner Glacier as well as challenge ourselves to ski tour on long powder runs. If you want a more detailed itinerary, you’ll find it at the end of this description.
Regarding the ski level, participants should need to be comfortable on steep slopes. Besides that, it is necessary to be well trained. Take into account you have to be able to ascend over moderate terrain for 6-to-8 hours each day.
My main objective during this trip will be to focus on your safety. That’s why I lead groups of no more than 6 people. Furthermore, as a local guide based in Tyrol I know perfectly the region of the Austrian Alps. You have to know I will offer you the most suitable experience according to your expectations and wishes.
Please, contact me now if you are planning to come to Austria and are looking for a big skiing adventure. I will be pleased to accompany you during this trip in the highlights of the Stubai Valley.
The adventure starts with a walk up the Franz Senn Hut at 2.147 meters of altitude. During the afternoon, we will practice some avalanche search and rescue techniques.
Early in the morning, we’ll put the skins on and head across the Alpine Valley, continuing over the Ferner Glacier. After a long and hard ascent we’ll arrive up at the coll.
Having left our backpacks at the hut, we’ll walk across the slopes to the west of the hut to visit the summits of the area.
Last day of this ski tour. We will hike to a hidden valley and ski almost one mile down. We’ll finish the tour tired but happy back in the valley.
What are some recommended accommodations near our adventure location?

We had a great time with Andreas. He is very professional and experienced guide. He provided good safety session before our trip and provided personal safety equipment for a very reasonable price. His choice of routes were correctly matched to our abilities to challenge us and provide quite an exciting time. We would never be able to experience this kind of skiing without a guide and Andi was a great choice. I would highly recommend him to any clients from a beginners to a professionals. Also I enjoyed using your site for booking guide services. You were fast and informative. Transaction was simple, transparent and rate was very competetive. Thank you
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
