Experience the beauty of the northern Adirondack region on this incredible one-day hike to St. Regis Mountain. Located in Santa Clara, New York, this place offers a wonderful moderate hike, ideal for a weekend getaway. Join me on this spectacular activity.
Saint Regis Mountain has an elevation of 2,865 feet. The 6.6-mile hiking path is mostly through open forests and has a spectacular open-rock peak with impressive views of the Adirodacks, particularly the McKenzie and the High Peaks. It is a moderate hike, thought the last part requires a bit more effort. On the way, we'll get to see beautiful lakes and ponds within the St. Regis Canoe Area.
Make sure to bring hiking boots, micro spikes (for possible icy trails), waterproof top and bottom, comfortable and warm clothing, lightweight thermal top and bottom, and a warm hat and gloves. Please do not bring clothing made out of cotton. In addition, bring a backpack with an extra pair of socks and t-shirt, lunch and snacks, one liter of water, sunscreen, personal medication, sun hat and sun glasses. If you are not sure how to prepare for this hike, I am happy to help you.
So join me for this wonderful day trip. Book your trip now and get ready for the best weekend adventure.
I also offer other hikes in New York state. Be sure to check out the ones I offer to Kaaterskill High Peak, Devil’s Path and others for more options.
