Courmayeur is a historical and legendary mountain village in the Aosta Valley, very close to the Mount Blanc Massif. That is why we think it is the perfect place to land our helicopter and ski by the best slopes of the southwestern face of the highest peak of the Alps! In fact, Courmayeur is the only place from where you can go heliskiing right next to Mont Blanc and enjoy the best descents through glaciers and the most virgin snowfields!
Additionally, Courmayeur counts on a wide variety of ski resorts as well as off-piste itineraries. The surrounding natural beauty in the stunning Mont Blanc makes this trip a delight for the eyes. And the different landing areas will give us access to several and all level runs. We can ski on glaciers like Lee Blanche, Bionassay or Miage and challenge ourselves with drops of 1600 vertical meters.
Besides all these features, we also promise that you’ll live a safe heliski adventure since we have been working on mountain guiding for more than 20 years. We are currently operating with our own helicopter company in Courmayeur. Thus, we’ll provide all the necessary guarantees for you to spend the best week in Mont Blanc.
Regarding snow conditions we may expect some snowfalls during the winter. You will find mostly powder from December to mid April. We recommend springtime as the perfect season to find quality snow.
And in order to offer you a safe experience, we can take with us a maximum of 4 participants. All the members of the group should be fit and have some prior experience in skiing in all kinds of snow.
The final price of this trip includes 5 helicopter flights. In case of an additional drop (in a group of 4 participants) it will cost between € 100 and € 205 per person and per flight depending on the landing site.
On the contrary, in case of bad weather we will refund € 120 per person and per flight. Our helicopter is an Airbus helicopter AS 350 Ecureuil B3.
At the end of this description you will find more details about the itinerary of the program as well as some extra information of our suggested hotel accommodations.
Travel to Courmayeur and meeting at 5:30 PM in the hotel. Welcome meeting with the guide, preview of the program for the next days, material check and afterwards dinner.
Everyday depending on snow and weather conditions, we’ll have different opportunities for heliski. In case of bad weather we will go skiing off-piste in the nearby areas. After the last skiing day returning of rental equipment.
Travel back home after breakfast.

Guide Monte Rosa was founded after a strong snowfall in winter 1996. The Monte Rosa, while it is probably one of the most charming places in the Alps, is our base. The area offers unforgettable experience - the spectacular and in the same time fascinating landscape of the Monte Rosa is part of our freeride and heliski program.
Why with our team ?

Thanks to our know how and knowledge of our area, we can guarantee a perfect process and offering a maximum of flexibility and individuality. Putting safety first, their goal is to help you fulfil your dreams and expectations.

It was just amazing. The guide was both fun and serious. Reassuring and very competent. The helicopter company was great too and the pilot (Alessandro) was super fast.
Amazing experience ! Very nice guide, focused on security and carring his clients
Just have to say what an excellent week I had in Val Formazza last week with Heli Guides. Our guide Alberto was great and was able to find us great lines to ski as well as being great company and possessing a great nose for a fine bottle of wine. The hotel we stayed in - the Walser Schtuba - was great with comfortable rooms and top notch meals and wine. You could not ask for more after a great days skiing than to come back and relax in this great hotel. I was most impressed with all aspects of Heli Guides / Guide Monterosa and there willingness to make your holiday truly memorable.
Thank you for a great heliski day!!
