In the northwest region of Oregon, near Portland, there are three magnificent volcanic peaks that oversee the area. These peaks are known as the Three Sisters. Amongst the Three Sisters, the South Sister (3,157 m.) stands above all of them. It is the tallest of the three, and it offers some of the finest ski routes in the region. This is a classic 1-day ski trip perfect for those looking for a ski descent of moderate difficulty.
The South Sister lays in the heart of the Central Oregon Cascades, an area brimming with mountains, peaks, lakes and stunning natural spots. Therefore, this area is ideal for those who love skiing. It is also excellent for those interested in visiting other natural places, as there are plenty of options nearby.
In the north you can find Mt. Jefferson (3,199 m.), Mt. Washington (1,917 m.) and the Three Fingered Jack (2,391 m.). Surrounding them you can find the Green Lake and the Three Greek Lake. Southeast is the Broken Top (2,797 m.), standing near Mt. Bachelor (2,764 m.).
In geological terms, the South Sister is the youngest of the Three Sisters, and as such, the least eroted. This volcanic peak does not only have thrilling ski routes, but fantastic views and great hiking trails worth exploring. The Three Sisters, North Sister (3,074 m.), Middle Sister (3,062 m.) and South Sister, are located in the Three Sisters Area.
This is the perfect trip for those looking for just the right amount of fun, adventure and beautiful natural scenery. This trip is classified as moderately difficult, so it welcomes expert as well as less experienced skiers.

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!
