  • It offers stunning scenery that is easily accessible.

Description

Hike the South Kaibab trail in the Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona. The classic trail leads us out on a ridge to Skeleton Point, allowing 360-degree views on the canyon.

Each step along the trail features fantastic views as we follow the exposed ridge into the depths of the canyon. The stunning landscape makes it one of the most photographed trails in the United States.

Beginning with a steep descent on the upper layer of rock we pass Ooh-Aah Point (named after the common reaction) that gives wonderful wide views. Then we continue to Cedar Ridge, a beautifully exposed section opening up the entire canyon landscape, before passing Skeleton Point, where we witness the first view of the river.

Because of the popularity of the area, expect to be in the company of other hikers in the beginning of the trail. But we will also experience long stretches of solitude as we hike deeper in the canyon.

A great aspect of the trip is that the beautiful landscapes are easily assessable. Meaning the trip is open to most people. However, please note that we will cover the distance of 3-6 miles (5-10kilometers) that will take approximately 5-7 hours to complete.

Reserve your place now for a stunning canyon experience along the South Kaibab trail in the Grand Canyon National Park.
