Snowshoeing to the top of Killington Peak (Half-day)

Climbing to the summit of any peak is an incredible experience. However, on this half-day trip, you will not only get to reach the summit of a great peak, you will get to snowshoe to it. The peak you will be scaling is the Killington Peak (1,289m). Located in Vermont, the peak is the second highest in the Green Mountains. And while its modest elevation pales in comparison to other mountains in the world, the Killington peak is nonetheless a wonderful mountain well worth climbing.

During this trip, which will take approximately 4 hours, you will get to make your way right to the mountain’s summit. Throughout the ascent, you will get to enjoy fantastic views of not only other peaks in the Green Mountains, but also the beautiful landscape that surrounds Killington.

The path to the summit of the mountain can be arduous as times. As a result, it is important that participants on this trip are in good physical condition.
