Description

Located in northeastern Italy, the Tre Cime di Lavaredo are three distinctive peaks in the Dolomites Mountains that will take your breath away. From December to April, they are also completely covered in snow, making it a great spot for snowshoeing!  Join me to discover this incredible and unique scenery.

This outing can be done in one or more days and it offers many options you can choose from. During this trip, we can trek around the Tre Cime (2999 meters) and admire the majestic landscapes that Italy has to offer. We can also try snowshoeing up Monte Piana, a smaller mountain in the Dolomites. Despite its short altitude (2323 meters), you can admire the Tre Cime from its summit. This activity will take between 5 and 6 hours and you need to have some previous experience in snowshoeing. But I can guarantee you that this trip will be totally worth it!

If you feel adventurous this upcoming winter and have more days to spend here, we can arrange a program based on your personal objectives and your skill level. The itinerary will also depend on the weather and snow conditions.

For safety reasons, I can take a maximum of 8 people with me on this trip. And if you are alone, you are welcome to join a group!  If you don’t have the right equipment for this adventure, we can provide you with snowshoes upon request.

So what are you waiting for? Send me a request to book this trip and come live an amazing snowshoeing experience in the Dolomites!

Dean was an excellent guide. All of the communication on the lead up to the trip was exact and to the point. For our whole hike we was so knowledgeable about the area and had great stories. By the end of the trip he was one of the boys

Barb

Gabrielle

We truly had an unforgettable snowshoeing tour with Dean! We couldn’t have asked for a better guide! Even though my snowshoeing skills were not the best, he was very patient. He definitely has the skills and was incredibly knowledgeable. He made sure we stayed safe and kept a close eye on everyone. He was kind enough to take photos of us! You can tell he loves what he does. You will not be disappointed with Dean! As for the Explore-Share service website….it made the booking process and communication extremely easy. I emailed with questions first and within 24 hours I had a response and decided to book. All in all the whole experience was great!

Lenny

We had a wonderful day today with Dean as our guide at the "Tre Cime". He was very patient with us (we're not particularly fast walking up a mountain), but we never felt pressured. He offered us some additional detour to give us an additional special view, but made clear that we would have to see first if the conditions were good enough for us to pass, as otherwise it would be too dangereous. We were lucky and were able to walk on, but on the "dangerous" icy passage over a cliff he walked under my wife making sure she was safe - overall, we felt that we were in very good hands with you, Dean, thank you very much!!
