Description

Looking for a nice excursion in the middle of the woods? Then come with me on this snowshoeing program and explore the beautiful forest on the way to the Dibona Hut, situated near Cortina d’Ampezzo.

On this opportunity, I would like to invite you to put your snowshoes on and cross a forest at the base of the Tofane. This is a mountain group that belongs to the Dolomites and is west of Cortina d’Ampezzo, in the province of Belluno.

During the hike, we’ll follow the tracks of a deer or a chamois and walk around the local firs, larches and pines. The trail is very easy and it’s perfect for beginners. Afterwards, we’ll reach the Dibona Hut and contemplate stunning views of the Dolomites.

Some of the peaks that we’ll see include the Cinque Torri, the Nuvolau group, Lastoni di Formin, Croda da Lago as well as Tofana di Rozes and Punta Anna. In addition, we’ll share a delicious local meal together in the refuge.

So, do you find this program attractive? Then, get in touch with me by sending the request to book your place. I’m sure you’ll love snowshoeing in this spot in the Dolomites!

I also lead an ice climbing program and a via ferrata program in the Dolomites. Check them out!

Mountain Guide

I was born in the plain in 1983, but as often happens to those who were born there, I have always loved the mountains. I was three years old when I wore my first skis, not knowing that this would become my strongest passion ... Skiing, walking, climbing: it is since I was a child that I go to the mountains, first with my parents and my grandfather and then with my friends.

The degree in forestry science was only the logical consequence of this passion, as well as the beautiful summers spent managing the refuge Capanna Punta Penia in Marmolada (the highest refuge in the Dolomites, on top of the highest mountain in the Dolomites!), which I call "the bus without wheels" and all over the Dolomites!
The last step (for now...) was to become a Mountain Guide, to let you experience what the mountain transmits to me!
… and to show you the famous " bus without wheels”

Giovanni was an exceptionally wonderful guide! Our family spent the day with him climbing in Cinque Torri. He was incredibly patient with our children, and was able to find routes that we all enjoyed climbing. We loved every minute of the day and would recommend this trip to any family interested in doing some sport climbing near Cortina/Cinque Torri.
