  • Learn ski touring skills and practice them in an amazing wilderness setting.
  • Discover the wonders of the Canadian Rockies with a certified local guide.

Description

These weekends are designed to introduce people to the backcountry in the areas surrounding Lake Louise, Kananaskis Country, Highway 93 North & South. If you're new to ski touring & splitboarding or have some experience already this is a great course to get you comfortable in some new areas with a certified guide. This course is also an excellent follow up to an AST 1 course.

Our guides will give instruction on powder skiing, ski touring and splitboarding techniques and will aim to help you achieve your goals while keeping things safe and fun. The program is a perfect progression to our 3 day Powder Warrior course, and after this one of our Spring Ski Expeditions !

This program is a great addition to an AST 1 to cover all the foundations of backcountry ski touring and splitboarding. You will receive a 10% discount if signing up for both the AST 1 & WW programs in the same season.

A detailed course package will be emailed 3 days prior to course commencement.
