If you are thrilled with the idea of venturing beyond ski resorts, you should join this 1-week ski touring trip in the best locations of the Southern Alps.
We'll visit different spots in Slovenia, Italy and Austria, finding great opportunities for off-piste skiing, mountaineering and -of course- ski touring.
All this, surrounded by the idyllic scenery and amazing views of the Julian Alps, the Karavanke mountains, the Hohe Tauern and the Kamnik-Savinja Alps.
The unique sense of freedom while skiing untracked powder.
Avoiding crowded ski resorts.
Reaching less-traveled places, like hidden valleys and incredible peaks.
Finding the best snow conditions
Feeling completely safe, as you'll be with a professional and experienced IFMGA mountain guide.
Viševnik: an attractive and fairly easy ski tour in a popular peak of Slovenia, above Pokljuka plateau.
Rodica: a lift-accessed ski tour on one of Slovenia's highest peaks near Vogel ski resort.
Nad Šitom Glava: an easy access skiing area in Slovenia, near Vršič pass.
Pod Kriško steno: there are usually great conditions for ski touring in this spot near Kranjska gora.
Škrbina nad Cijanerico: a beautiful Italian location for ski touring, close to Sella Nevea.
Dobratsch: a 2000-meter peak in Austria, with moderate slopes to ski right after snowfall.
We'll choose the locations according to snow and weather conditions.
Besides, you'll receive ski touring training. So this trip is great if you are looking for a first ski touring experience. You'll learn skiing techniques for different terrains and types of snow, as well as abseiling skills and how to test snow stability.

Mountain Guide
I am a Slovenian IFMGA mountain guide with the ZGVS.
It was when I was 12 years old that I first climbed a mountain myself and by the age of 15 I had started rock climbing.
Since then, my ascents count up to around 1000, starting from Mont Blanc in the seventies and Triglav north face to Cho Oyu, and all over South America including 18 of the 6000m+ peaks including a first ascent on south face of Aconcagua.
I have climbed and travelled all over the world, Shivlinga, K2, Mt Everest, Manaslu, Shishi Panama, El Cap and sport climbing in Kalymnos and Cuba.
Skiing powder in great conditions and rock climbing under the sun are my motto!
Contact me if you'd like to have fun safely in the mountains with me! If I am unavailable then my trusted friend guides, Franc and Milan, can take care of you!

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

We had Léo as a guide for our day climb in Fonty. We were blessed with a knowledgeable, warm, and instructive guide. Communication with Léo and Ivan was smooth and swift. Explore-Share was excellent in arranging everything for our day climb. The communication was quick, and the platform was easy to use, making our adventure stress-free.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
