Tucked into the heart of the gorgeous Sequoia National Park in central California's Sierra Nevada range, Pear Lake is the perfect spot for a ski touring adventure!

Over the course of two to five days, depending on how much time you have, we will head out into different parts the backcountry of the national park, enjoying phenomenal snow and picturesque scenery at every turn.

A tremendous amount excellent mountain slopes and chutes are located all around the lake, ensuring there is something novel and incredible each day of our trip.

After a long day out on our skis, we will retire to the mountain hut in the evening, where we will enjoy the company of other ski tourers and tuck in to a high-quality backcountry meal.

The rustic Pear Lake mountain hut is the ideal base for our adventures and is located six miles into the backcountry, allowing us to escape the crowds of nearby resorts.

Having our base here also means we will only require small day packs; no lugging around heavy backpacks.
