Description

On this unique ski touring program in the Polish Tatra Mountains, you will enjoy a thrilling adventure while improving on your ski touring skills.

This trip is perfect for you if:

You are a very good skiers who has already tried some off-piste fun
You have some basic knowledge in the field of avalanche studies
You are over 18 years of age
You are in good shape

The tour will begin with some instruction and then we will set off on a route intended for intermediate skiers. It will involve a 5 - 7 km long ascent, with about 500-900 m of elevation gain, and a descent at the end of the training. Remember that the training time may be shorter or longer depending on the group and weather.

Some of the routes that we may explore include:

Rakoń, from where we will go down to the shelter at Polana Chochołowska.
Trzydniowiański Wierch
For more advanced skiers, the Tatras Haute Route, a hut-to-hut tour that will take 5 or 6 days is also an option.

Itinerary

Day 1: Ski Touring in the Polish Tatra Mountains

8:00 - meeting at the entrance of the Chochołowska Valley, where we will leave our cars (PLN 10 / day) - equipment check.
08:30 - 14:30 - ski touring instruction + ski tour.
2:30 PM- short break, and exit to cars
15:00- equipment return, farewell
