Description

Would you like to explore one of the most dazzling parts of Europe? Then, follow me on this incredible adventure ski touring across the Rila Mountains in Bulgaria. Let me take you to the best spots in Malyovitza & Musala.

On this ski touring adventure we will reach the summit of the Malyovitza and Musala peaks, two of the most beautiful peaks of the Rila mountains. After taking in the breathtaking views they offer, we’ll begin our incredible descent. And, since we’ll visit two majestic peaks, along with mesmerizing alpine valleys, the ski touring options will be endless.

Also, please note this is a private trip. So even though I am proposing an itinerary, we can craft it according to your previous experience and requests.

On the itinerary I suggest we can depart early from Sofia. Or if you want, you can stay the previous night an enchanting nearby village. Thereon, we’ll begin an unforgettable ski mountaineering trip. We’ll ascend from the parking lot (1,600 m) heading to the Malyovitsa valley. And once we stand on the summit of Malyovitsa at 2,729 meters, our thrilling descent will begin. That night we’ll stay at the Govedartsi mountain hut, where we’ll enjoy fantastic vistas of the area, and recover our energies.

Then, the next day, after a short transfer to the Borovets ski resort, about 30 minutes away, we’ll take a cable car to the Yastrebets hut (2,300 m.). From there, we’ll climb up to the top of Musala (2,925), where we’ll breath in fresh air and unveil hypnotizing sceneries. Thereupon, the wildest and most amazing descents await for us.

If you love ski touring this is a great opportunity you can’t miss. Join me on this 2 days adventure skiing across the Rila Mountains.

Looking for a summer adventure? I also guide this Vihren peak hike, Pirin range, Bulgaria.
