Situated on the southern slope of the Pyrenees, with an average altitude of 2000 meters, you can expect to encounter high-quality snow and abundant sunshine, except during snowy days.

Choose your adventure from a range of itineraries carefully curated based on prevailing snow conditions, ensuring an experience tailored to your preferences and skill level.

Warm up with an invigorating trek through the Sorteny valley. Embark on a scenic ascent from the Ransol valley, navigating towards the majestic La Serrera Peak, reaching an elevation of 2914 meters (9,560 feet) ski touring expedition through the picturesque Maia valleys. Glide through snow-covered landscapes, surrounded by breathtaking peaks and serene valleys.

Itinerary

Day 1: Warm up in Sorteny valley

Gather at the COULOIR MOUNTAIN STORE for equipment rental (if needed) and a briefing around 10:30 a.m. Begin with a warm-up in the picturesque Sorteny valley before setting out on your chosen itinerary, depending on the snow conditions. Receive technical corrections for ski touring and participate in a DVA (Digital Voice Assistant) workshop to enhance your skills.

Day 2: La Serrera Peak ascent

Commence your ice climbing adventure with a scenic departure from the Ransol valley. Ascend towards the majestic La Serrera Peak, reaching an elevation of 2914 meters, if weather and snow conditions permit.

Day 3: Ski Touring in Pic Maia

As your adventure draws to a close, ascend to the summit of Pic Maia, reaching an elevation of 2625 meters. Enjoy panoramic views that encompass the enchanting surroundings, bidding farewell to the Pyrenees with a heart full of memories and a renewed appreciation for the beauty of nature.
