Discover the scenic and wild backcountry of Baqueira Beret, in the heart of the Spanish Pyrenees, with an off-piste skiing tour, for one or several days. Baqueira is the largest and most popular ski resort in Spain. It is located in the Aran Valley and Àneu Valley, in the extreme northwest of Catalonia.
I know this area like the back of my hand, so I will take you to explore the wilder side of this area and the most amazing off-piste runs. Baqueira offers from open bowls and steep faces to lush tree runs, with ideal snow conditions.
This trip will take us about 7,5 hours and it is aimed to skiers of intermediate level. Depending on your previous experience and wishes, we will find the best spots for you to enjoy a great off-piste skiing experience in the Pyrenees. The highest peak in the resort reaches 2,510 meters.
Baqueira is a modern resort with a combination of Spanish and French influences. Once away from the crowds, we will enjoy long descents from about 1,400 meters from the highest point in the area, skiing on open slopes, exciting corridors, gullies and forested sections.
I will also take you to the great bowls of Ruda and Montgarri for epic descents. The unique mixture of pristine natural beauty and remoteness make Baqueira a favorite among celebrities looking for the thrill of skiing and the peace of the mountains.
After exciting runs and descents, we will take a break for a picnic in a stunning spot. We will recover our energy to hit the slopes again, skiing on remote hidden places in the mountains.
If you want to join me on this off-piste skiing tour in Baqueira, don’t hesitate to contact me. Just book your trip and get ready for an exciting skiing tour in the Spanish Pyrenees.

Mountain Guide
I love what I do and love to transmit my passion while guiding.
After touring the world fulfilling my dreams, I have put together all the knowledge gained and a strong background as a mountain guide to become one of the most versatile, dedicated and professional guides in the Pyrenees.
My resume has technical training in mountain medicine, snow studies, search and rescue complete training, meteorology and botany.
I spend the winters enjoying the unique snow conditions in the Aran Valley, as a ski touring and freeride Guide, and summers climbing the countless areas of excellent rock, either granite, limestone or conglomerate in the Pyrenees. I also spend a lot of time in Iceland during the summer guiding my friends and clients across these incredible landscapes.
While traveling the world, I make every effort to show the beauty of the landscapes, the quality of the rock and the best snow in the Pyrenees to everyone who wants to check them out.
Please get in touch with me if you want to discover the Pyrenees!

Roger was my instructor for a glacier guiding course in Iceland - he went above and beyond to share his incredible knowledge/experience. I would recommend him as an instructor!
Roger has guided our groups on the Snoworks Backcountry skiing trip to Baqueira that I've joined in 2019 and 2020, and I can vouch for his excellent and very safety conscious approach to route choice and group management. His expert knowledge of the area meant we were able to ski untracked powder almost every day. His friendly and very positive personality has also made our days out with him great fun.
Makes every trip into the mountains a real adventure.
Roger is a fantastic person and a super guide. We spent one week with him on Monte Rosa where he safely guided us on glaciers and we learned a lot about high altitude mountaineering. He knows his stuff on the mountain, on glaciers and on climbing. Always positive and a great attitude. Thanks for a great experience, Roger!
5 Star guide with a lot of experience in the mountains, extremely professional. He made me feel safe and in the same time he challenged me.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
