Description

This weeklong singletrack mountain biking adventure in the Lyngen Alps, from Tromso, Norway, is a truly unforgettable and special experience, and I will guide you as we ride our way through the pure raw natural beauty of this stunning region, known for its towering and majestic mountains and fjords, sensational views over the ocean and seemingly limitless stretches of pristine landscape and terrain.

The Lyngen Alps are located high up in the far North of Norway, close to the city of Tromso, and are a popular tourist destination due to the myriad of outdoor activities that one can indulge in there, in both Winter and Summer.

We will meet in the city of Tromso on the morning of the first day, where safety information and gear will be dispensed, and from there we head to the Lyngen Alps.

Every morning we will wake up and decide on the route we will ride that day collaboratively, so as to maximise your enjoyment of the trip.

We then head off and ride along the epic and awesome tracks on offer, with the lack of people and crowds resulting in a blissful and peaceful experience. There are several uphill sections that will require handled or pushed sliding, with the other sections providing thrill-a-minute curves and turns on the rough and ready tracks.

We stay in cosy, cute cabins every night, and there will be ample opportunities to take in the marvelous views over the mountains, fjords and ocean.

We finish the week back in Tromso, weary yet happy at what we have accomplished over the previous 7 days.
