Enjoy a fun half-day of canyoning in the beautiful landscape of Catalonia, near Lleida! I will guide you through the lovely ravine of Serradel during this adventurous trip suitable for thrillseekers 12 years of age and older!
The region of Catalonia in Spain is known for having many world class canyons and ravines to explore. There are routes everyone can enjoy, from beginners to experts. Canyoning is an exhilarating sport that is certain to get your adrenaline pumping, and this trip is the perfect opportunity for you and your family to get outdoors and explore the incredible natural landscape of the Serradel canyon near Lleida.
We will explore a series of lovely well-formed ravines composed of calcareous rock as we follow the route through a series of small hollows. Along the way, you will marvel at the beauty of the natural geological formations, how the rocks have been carved over the course of many years by the flow of water. There will be 6 opportunities for rappel descents, the longest of which is 12 meters long. The trip typically lasts about 5 hours in total, including a descent of 3 hours, but exact length will depend on the pace of the group and time of the year. Please note that this canyon is mostly dry.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area.
