Sequoia National Park, Sierra Nevada, 8 Day Hike

With an area as vast as the Sierra Nevada mountain range, there is no shortage of amazing places to explore. However, we believe the Sequoia national park in the southern part of the range is definitely one of the more exceptional spots to choose. And on this 8 day hike, you will get to see a great deal of this beautiful park, as well as all of the natural highlights it possesses.

The Sequoia national park spans over 1,500 square kilometres. And while we won’t get to hike through it all, we will do our best so you can see as much of it as possible.

Within the park’s limits is an enormous forest populated by massive Sequoia trees that is aptly named the Giant Forest. This amazing place is home to 5 of the largest trees in the world, included the largest of all, the General Sherman tree. This tree is just over 83 metres high, with a circumference just over 31 metres. You will also get to see one of the highest mountains in the United States, Mount Whitney (4,421m). Furthermore, you will get to see an array of lush valleys, caves, rivers, and wildlife. And at the end of every night, you will get to rest your body in a lovely campsite. Thus giving your imagination the chance to run wild as the moon and millions of stars gleam down upon you.
