Upon arriving at the park's Laguna Amarga entrance, register with CONAF and take a transfer with "Transporte Las Torres" to the welcome center. Register at Estancia Cerro Paine, then take a short 5-minute walk to the Central Refuge.
From here, start your trek through the scenic Ascencio Valley, where you'll walk through forests and fields of large rocks as you make your way to the famous Mirador Base de las Torres. Today’s hike to Serón is one of the easiest in the Circuit, yet it offers stunning landscapes showcasing the wild side of Torres del Paine Park. The trail winds through a lush carpet of green trees and continues along a gentle slope that descends toward vast open pastures.
As you follow the relatively flat path toward Serón Camp, you’ll encounter crystal-clear streams along the way. Once at the campsite, take some time to soak in the expansive landscape before enjoying dinner in the small but cozy dining room of Serón.

Today’s journey takes you deep into the park, beginning with a long hike over rolling hills and through humid swamps. Snow-capped mountains, vibrant blue lakes, and vast grasslands set the scene as you explore the park’s northern side. Today’s hike leads you through the most remote area of the park. You’ll feel the wind rustling through the bushes and enjoy the sounds of Magellanic woodpeckers. Following the Los Perros River, the trail ascends a large moraine, offering breathtaking views of the scenic Los Perros Glacier and its stunning greenish-blue lagoon. The hike continues along a rocky path before reaching Los Perros campsite, where you will spend the night.

Take a breath and prepare for the most demanding and rewarding day of the Paine Circuit. After early morning breakfast at the campsite, make your way walking through gnarled tree roots and large mud puddles, under the green canopy of the trees. Leave the forest and begin to ascend through worn and loose rocks (sometimes snow) until reaching the highest point in the Paine Circuit, the famous John Gardner Pass (1,200 m.a.s.l.).
Wrapped by the strong Patagonian winds, you’ll be impressed with the Southern Patagonian Ice Field and its marvelous resplendent carpet. The descent is made by the side of a giant wall of ice, and the trail continues through Camping El Paso, crossing the exciting suspension bridges before arriving at the Grey Shelter for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Activity: Distance: 11 km / Time: 4-4.5 hrs / Difficulty: Moderate / Meals: Breakfast, box lunch, and dinner
Enjoy breakfast at the Grey Refuge before taking in more breathtaking landscape views of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field and the icebergs of Grey Lake. Begin an ascent through a mountainous forest until you reach the sometimes (very) windy viewpoint of Grey Glacier. Continue until you arrive at Laguna de Los Patos, where you’ll start descending through a narrow, windy valley that leads directly to the Paine Grande Refuge.
Extra: Ice Hike or Kayaking on Grey Lake

Activity: Distance: 20 km / Time: French Lookout: 6-7 hrs / Difficulty: Demanding / Meals: Breakfast and box lunch
Start early in the morning for a full day of trekking into the heart of Torres del Paine Park. After breakfast, pick up your box lunch and prepare for a day filled with spectacular views of Patagonia’s rugged peaks. Walk over arid ground along the stunning blue waters of Lake Skottsberg. After about 2.5 hours, you’ll reach El Italiano campsite, where the ascent into the French Valley begins. Climb through vast rocky terrain, following the treetops’ edge until reaching the Plató (French Lookout).
Here, take in the dramatic views of Los Cuernos, turquoise glacial lagoons, and hanging glaciers cascading down the east face of Paine Grande (3,050 meters). If lucky, you may hear the roar of falling water and ice, as avalanches are common here. This is a prime spot for photos and enjoying your box lunch before descending and making your way back to Paine Grande Refuge.

Climbing with guide Guillaume was absolutely a highlight of my 2-week Europe vacation. Originally, we were planning on climbing in the Calanques, but the park was closed due to wind and fire danger. Guillaume chose another amazing location (Pic de Bretagne) based on my climbing abilities and preferences and kindly offered train station pick-up and hotel drop off, which I appreciated very much. The multi-pitch route we did was not only fun but also the right amount of challenge, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The communication from the team (Gauthier) was prompt and clear—highly recommend!

Luis Silva was a great climbing guide and belayer! He taught me how to do moves that were difficult and encouraged me to try routes that were challenging for me! Because of his encouragement, I managed to complete these routes! I really enjoyed the climbs and completed 8 routes in the Sesimbra/Azoia area. The weather was perfect, no direct sun and cool enough to enjoy the climbs. Explore-Share made booking an outdoor climbing experience in Lisbon extremely easy. Luis, our guide, was fantastic, and the platform’s organization was flawless.

Patrick was a great guide. He took us on an intermediate Via Ferrata at Passo Sella. Renato was quick to respond with any outreach on the Explore-Share platform. The booking process was straightforward, and once Patrick was confirmed, all went well. It was a wonderful experience, and I’d highly recommend the platform.
