The blue-green Sainte Croix Lake is an ideal place for hikers and outdoor lovers. Come with me on this one-day hike around the most beautiful spots in the area and fall in love with this hidden lake in France.
We’ll spend 3 hours walking around the lake, gaining an elevation of 400 meters. The trail I chose for you is easy and open to everyone, especially those that want to spend a different day in their vacations.
We’ll start our hike in the region of Moustiers Sainte Marie near the lake to explore the charming french village. Along the way, we’ll go through characteristic spots, such as the Grotte Marie Madeleine and Notre Dame de Beauvoir. On our way up, we’ll be able to admire the panoramic views of Courchon on Sainte Croix Lake, the Petit Lac, the Plateau de Valensole, the mouth of the Gorges du Verdon, Sainte Victoire and Mont Ventoux.

I booked a tour with Fabrice on late May, definitely the highlight of my holiday, we went on a hike around Casterino It was a relaxed hike with great sights of mountain forests and lakes, I got to see some of the local fauna and flora of the park, ibex, marmots, chamois, although not as much as they would be in the area, possibly because of the wolfs (we saw some footprints). Overall it is a great way to see the surroundings. I would definitely recommend Fabrice as a guide for your next hike!
