Description

Let me invite you to a guided ski touring experience in the amazing ski circus of Saalbach-Hinterglemm.

Based on the time you have and your wishes, we can leave together for one or several days. During this journey you will discover the most fantastic nature of the region using your skis only. I am sure that real mountaineering begins just where chair lifts are gone. And that is what I am proposing today: a ski tour among the wildest corners of Saalbach without queues neither line-ups. A mountain experience as it’s must be: free and wild.

Moreover, you will feel the loneliness far away from beaten paths and slopes. This ski circuit consists in a three-resort network that connects Saalbach, Hinterglemm and Leogang. Three jewels of the Austrian state of Salzburg. The unique landscape will give you the chance of skiing among snow-covered forests and wild fields. Of course, I and my 2 friends, IFMGA guides, will be there to help you find the perfect runs for you.

Saalbach has a wide variety of ski touring routes. I and my team know the area very well as we are all locals. We can show you the highlights taking you to no-lift places. Once you have reached the highest point, you will enjoy a unique fresh powder descent.

Regarding the ski level let me tell you it is not a problem. Whatever experience you have, the region around Saalbach Hinterglemm, Leogang and Fieberbrunn have options for everyone, from beginners to experts.

Please, contact me now if you plan to come in the Saachbach area and if you want to enjoy some unique ski experience. I will be waiting for your message!

Mountain Guide

The mountains have always been a great part of my life. I was a youth leader of the Alpine Association of Zell am See, Bergrettungsmann, and completed the training as a ski and snowboard instructor. I studied meteorology because it can be very useful in mountaineering. My first trips took me to the Eastern Alps, around Piz Bernina and Biancogray. I also had the chance many times the amazing Mont Blanc range and the peaks around Chamonix. Finally, I got to practice in the high mountains of Bolivia and Chile.
I have really found my calling as a mountain guide. I am right where I always wanted to be. The smile on my clients' faces at the summit or after an intense ski day is so rewarding!
I am part of a team of local guides (Bergführer Zell am See Kaprun), all friends of mine, guys with whom I share the passion for the mountains. They are Markus B, Markus H and Gerald, all IFMGA certified guides. Our philosophy is "to know how to do something well is to enjoy it". Therefore, we always keep learning to give you the best experience.
