Rooster Comb trek in the Keene Valley

Trekking to the Rooster Comb is an extraordinary experience that is rewarded with spectacular views from the wide top ridge, a few meters from the rocky small summit.

The Rooster Comb, situated in the Keene Valley, is a semi circled rock face, 80 meters tall, topped by an extensive area of open rock. The view you will enjoy from the peak is one of the most beautiful in the Adirondack Mountains.

Keene Valley, also known as the “Home of the High Peaks”, has 15 of the 46 High Peaks of the Adirondacks in its region. It is a great place to admire nature and its greatness.
