Meeting at the hotel and dinner in Capetown.
Drive to Nuwerus which is situated about 3,5 hours northwest of Capetown. We will stay at the beautiful Nuwerus Farm which offers comfortable chalets, a large barbecue area with a huge fireplace, a swimming pool, and great farm-style hospitality. In the afternoon, we will learn and practice how to place camelots and stoppers. In the evening, we will enjoy our first Southafrican barbecue.
Sports climbing day in Rooiberg. The Rooiberg climbing area is situated about 40 minutes’ walking distance from the farmstead. It was only developed recently and offers great routes on typical hard Cederberg rock. After a full day of rock climbing, we will climb the summit of Rooiberg and enjoy the amazing views of the valley.

Thank you! It was really fantastic! I learned a lot and will keep at it - I have to say that ice, especially mixed and dry, is almost more fun than rock. Thank you for the super week and the great hotel! See you soon!
Tal and Dave,Thank you both on a terrific week in Chamonix! I had a great time and really feel now that I learnt a lot from you during this time! Climb save and see you next year :)
Hi Tal, I had a wonderful trip -- thank you so much for being such an excellent guide! Definitely want to do it again. Frankly, not sure why I bothered to fly home at all...... Really really want to go back :) Best, Amber
