Description

Cliffs falling into the sea, idyllic coves, the deep canyons of Monte Supra… Without a doubt Sardinia is a paradise for all levels of climbers!

We can practice rock climbing in many different areas of Sardinia. I will take you to sports climbing and multi-pitch routes.

This 6-day program in Sardinia can be adapted to the experience and expectations of the participants. During this trip I can teach both beginners and advanced climbers safety and progression techniques in cliffs, depending on your level. In addition, you will learn: – Lead climbing – Top roping – Belaying – Building anchor – Abseiling.

After that, you will put into practice everything you learned on real sport routes as well as multi-pitch routes.

The only condition to participate is to have a regular training in climbing rooms. In addition, you should have at least basic rock climbing experience.

If you’re planning to come to Sardinia you cannot miss this chance! Send me a request to book the trip so we can plan the adventure together!

Mountain Guide

Roberto “Rouge” Rossi, born on 24/02/1976 in Turin, forms the Mountain Passion guide team with Riccardo Olliveri.

I graduated in Biology, and I'm a Mountain Guide since 2003, and Guide Instructor since 2007.

I'm enthusiastic for all that is mountains and verticality, practice 360-degree mountaineering, with a large number of climbs along the entire Western Alpine arc where I've made all kinds of climbs and on all terrains, with a predilection for Mont Blanc. However, I did not neglect the extra-European mountains by making extra-European and European trips and expeditions including Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Patagonia, Himalaya, Pakistan, Morocco, Kenya, Norway, Spain, Japan, Canada, USA.

I now divide my days between Cervinia and Chamonix, and I'm a great lover of high mountain climbing and steep skiing, among which the descents of the North of Lyskamm, of the East and of the South of Monte Rosa, of the North of Aiguille du Midi along different itineraries and east of the Matterhorn. I'm also a trainer for work at height with access and positioning systems using ropes and for third category fall protection PPE.

I collaborate with specialized magazines in the sector (ALP, Planetmountain) and am a consultant for Montura, Scarpa, ATK, Kæstle, Edelweiss, ARVA, BLUE ICE.

What people are saying about Roberto

Roberto a été un excellent guide ! On a beaucoup rigolé tout au long de l’ascension et nous a en même temps très bien encadré et rassuré. Il a pris l’initiative d’aller plus tôt en haut pour qu’on évite la queue à la phase de rappel.

Herbert

Great experience during 3 days of climbing adventures.

Paul

Great day on the Arete des Cosmiques. Roberto is a great guide. He is personable, professional and answered all my questions prior to my trip. He tailored the day appropriately to my level of experience

Anna

Changing dates on the website was a little bit difficult but Roberto and the route were fantastic! Was a stunning location to push myself, but still feel safe and supported to make the climb.

Karla

Roberto was an amazing guide. Not only did he select amazing routes but he was excellent about communicating different options for climbs and was incredibly safe and just generally fun to climb with !
