Picos de Europa is one of the most popular rock climbing destinations in the world. This is your chance to head up the exciting vertical routes around Fuente Dé: join me!
Stretching for about 20 km, Picos de Europa is a mountain range in northern Spain which belongs to the Cantabrian Mountains. It encompasses part of the communities of Asturias, Cantabria and Castilla y León. With huge limestone walls and a wild environment, this region is a perfect destination for outdoor adventures.
On this rock climbing tour, we will explore the surroundings of Fuente dé, an aerial lift line in Cantabria. We can practice both trad and sport climbing in many different spots. If you join me for several days, we can try more than just one!
These are our possible destinations:
Cabrones Torrecerredo: Spectacular ridge that joins Pico de los Cabrones (2,552m) with the highest peak of Picos de Europa, Torrecerredo (2,650m). A classic tour with imposing beauty.
Madejuno Tirollago: In this ridge we will find spectacular ascents with rappels and aerial steps. A simple and pleasant climbing option.
Integral de Tajahierro: Beautiful alpine climbing at the heart of Picos de Europa. Not too difficult but long, it requires a good fitness level.
Torre Blanca Llambrion: This ridge allows us to enjoy rock climbing in a scenic area away from the crowds.
Remember that this activity is suitable for all levels. We will find a route adapted to your skills so you can enjoy it to the fullest!
So, are you ready to climb the huge rocks of Picos de Europa? Then get in touch with me and let’s go to the best rock climbing spots in the surroundings of Fuente Dé!

Mountain Guide
AEGM Mountain Guide from Spain
Passionate for mountains since I was a kid, at 14 I started climbing in Atxarte (Vizcaya) walls, thanks to some friends. Later I discovered other activities such as canyoning, skiing and ice climbing, which allowed me to enjoy mountains both in summer and in winter.
I travelled around Europe, USA, India, Peru, Marruecos, among others, with the excuse of climbing some peak, wall, or doing some canyoning.
I've been a member of the 'Young Alpinists Technification Team' of the Basque Mountain Federation, and after gaining experience in all mountain disciplines I left behind my job as electronic technician to become a guide in order to pass on my passion and knowledge to others.
