Description

The Naranjo de Bulnes (2,519m) is a stunning peak in Spain. And on this exciting trip, I would like to guide you on a rock climbing expedition on the mountain that you will never forget.

Otherwise known as the Picu Urriellu, the Naranjo de Bulnes is often a dream come true for climbers from around the world. And after one look at this magnificent peak, it isn’t difficult to see why. Furthermore, there are a number of different climbing routes that you can enjoy on this fantastic peak. Each route offers its own distinct set of views, as well as challenges. As a result, the route we choose will be heavily based on your skill level.

Some examples of the routes you can enjoy on the Naranjo de Bulnes include the Directa de los Martinez along the South Face and the Cepeda route on the East Face. You can also climb on the Pidal Cainejo route on the North Face and the Murciana route on the West Face. Reserved for more experienced climbers, the Murciana route consists of a vertical wall of more than 500 meters.

Other options include the Friendship with the Devil and Summer Mirages routes on the East Face, the Nani Marisi route on the Southeast Face and the Victor route on the South Face. With so many options to choose from, you can be sure we will find the perfect one for you.

To join me on this amazing climbing adventure up the Naranjo de Bulnes, just send me a request.

Mountain Guide

AEGM Mountain Guide from Spain

Passionate for mountains since I was a kid, at 14 I started climbing in Atxarte (Vizcaya) walls, thanks to some friends. Later I discovered other activities such as canyoning, skiing and ice climbing, which allowed me to enjoy mountains both in summer and in winter.

I travelled around Europe, USA, India, Peru, Marruecos, among others, with the excuse of climbing some peak, wall, or doing some canyoning.

I've been a member of the 'Young Alpinists Technification Team' of the Basque Mountain Federation, and after gaining experience in all mountain disciplines I left behind my job as electronic technician to become a guide in order to pass on my passion and knowledge to others.
